#72198 - RE: A few options - Reza Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Reza,
I am not sure if you have seen a hot rolling mill and its surrounds - but I can tell you that everything around it is VERY hot ! And particularly the exit point of the mill can get very hot and it would be very difficult to differentiate between the hot metal and the rollers / guides through which it passes over a period of time. Reason why I suggested to go in for a light curtain based counter instead of a IR setup. And I would request that you avoid this "(if I'm wrong, please correct me)". This is a place to share our ideas and experiences and nothing wrong in expressing your thoughts. Cheers. Raghu |
