Can anyone explain me what is Bit-Banging?

As has already been said, if you want routines for bit-banging an RS232 interface, search for "Soft UART".

Note that you will still need an RS232 transceiver (MAX232 or equivalent) irrespective of whether you use a software or hardware UART!
