The document describing migration from the T89C51RD2 to the AT89C51RD2/ED2 doesn't mention any differences in the parallel programming algorithm, so if you're feeling brave enough to trust Atmel's documentation you could take a look at the datasheet for the T89C51RD2 which describes parallel programming in some detail.
