I disagree that an LCD forum should be started. People ask for wholesale solutions to LCD implementation challenges. Are LCD's that difficult to use? I would say no. We are not here to provide a complete software resource, unless the contributors start drawing a salary, but to help people over the roadblocks that they find in their way. I don't think that a lot of the people asking for help with LCD's have done any research or any work whatsoever. If they had, they would have found how easy LCD's are to use.

I think that this board is great as is. I would be more inclined to suggest forums for RTOS, closed-loop control, serial communication, algorithms, data acquisition, memory/IO, etc. These topics are of a much more difficult nature.
