#73071 - LPC932A1 to address known issues Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Robert,
The issues you talk about will be handled with a new device that has the same functionallity as the LPC932 plus added features. The device will be a P89LPC932A1, this device will have encreased security for the ISP and IAP code that requires a key to execute IAP commands that will alter the Flash. When an unintended IAP function is called on the LPC932A1 due to the program counter being corrupted when power cycling with VDD being above VPOR (0.2V), the part will generate a software reset when the key is not correct. The LPC932A1 will have the interrupt nesting bug fixed as Rev G of the LPC932 and all other LPC900 devices. Other things added to the LPC932A1 are fixing erratas still on the Rev G. The ISP will add watchdog feeds and will be able to connect up to 115200 baud. The flash memory will also be able to byte erase and byte program. We do have an appnote explaining how the LPC900 family can be used in 5V applications. http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/acrobat/a...0220_1.pdf Best regards, Bauke Siderius |
