#73101 - Diode Required
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hello Charles,

What is the source of power to the circuit at PWR1 input? I suppose it must be AC ?

Also in case of power fail, your batteries (1.5V x 4) would try to power the LM7805 (U5). You need a diode between the output of U5 and VCC net.

If you must use an RC reset, why not add a diode at the reset capacitor (C7) ?

Driving the LCD with minimum number of pins is a good idea.
