In addition to the other suggestions:

Check that you are using the lowest-power versions of all chips in your system (these may be more expensive - you have to decide the trade-off!)

Investigate the low-power modes of all the chips in your system.

Keep as many as possible in the lowest-possibe power mode for as long as possible.

For parts without their own low-power mode, consider switching their power supply off.
