#73469 - RE: Problem in Reading Encoder Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Eric,
Don't get angry about the 'x4' name, it was just the shortest one I could make up. About the checking of the dicret circuit - while it is working well, for being perfect with different TTL series, some RC groups may be necessary. Second, I still have some doubts that 'handling 600kHz' is enough. Talking about PLD variant, a unit with it and 11MHz 8052 was produced in hundreds and used on machine tools, where one can find excellent noises, vibration etc. When making the first units, I have made many tests for problems including 'border' pulses. Conclusions: 1. Grounding and reset. 2. Power supply - switching type, forget 7805. 3. PLD clock must be derived from MCU clock and 1/12 was the best found divider. Cygnal f12x regards, Fedia |
