Correct.

Maybe I must have been more explicit and said,

"If you are using it as an external code memory then you need to use PSEN and !RD."

instead of simply saying,

"If you are using it only for code memory then you need to use PSEN and !RD."

Thanks for bringing out the finer point anyway.
