I guess he meant an IDE with a GUI...
Essentially- concerning matter of '51 tools with GUI for Linux - the situation is nearly hopeless, that is unless something has changed recently, you need to modify some "normal" (i.e. gcc-based) IDE to use SDCC or some other embedded compiler. I'd say the moderation "didn't search first" is rather unjust; searching and finding no results may mean "there is none" just as well as "you didn't search well enough" or "the search engines didn't pick it". |
