Dear Kashyap,

That is a bit disturbing. Why do you suspect he will say something else tomorrow ? Or do you have reason to believe that the fact maybe otherwise ? If so watch out - you already say you are a beginner and there is no bigger trap than to work for someone who does not FULLY spell out his requirement.

Even working with full knowledge of the machine and requirements last minute surprises are quite common. So better watch out.

As to your Flash animation, it does look OK and you are doing the right thing by querying the reed switch with a 24V dc supply. ( One warning : Check out the current rating of the reed switch in your design. Exceed this and you may end up with a "stuck" reed. Not very good for sensing after that)
