If the locals don't want to sell to you, buy it over the web! Things like LOGO are readily available at the local electrical wholesaler over here (australia).


As for your opto problem - your schematic is pretty close to the mark - see my comments regarding this. Also, most circuits I've seen don't have the resistor on the base of the 4n35 opto. Refer to the datasheet regarding this.

As for switching pneumatic solenoids- have a diode or MOV across the solenoid to soak up the high voltage spike you get when the relay opens.

As for the micro resetting - make sure your power supply has enough 'headroom'.
