with the rise edge of DIOR# the data "is to be latched" after that edge the data is floating. so just simply connecting the Databus to the cpu ports does not solve the problem.

the only thing you can do is that after asserting DIOR# to 0 you have the waste some time "data setup delay" read the data port and switch DIOR# to 1

i have solved this with a 16bit latch. some commands do answer with 16bit ! and require a 16 bit command. so now H and then L byte. one 16bit data shot !

second :

if i remember that timing right, you must swap point 2 and 3. first the access type DIOR and then the CS signals.

sorry, that i cannot be precise as this project is "stored" in one of the big boxes that i will open again when i have finished my "extend the house and make new rooms" project. So no "real" workroom for my and all the stuff.
