#75530 - re-programmable chips |
This question is so that I dont waste another $40 on a chip that can only be burned once.
I am about to purchase a few Atmel AT89C55WD-24PC microcontrollers and I just wanted to make sure that it is re programmable so if i mess up my code I can burn onto the chip again. My knowledge of microcontrollers is very limited and I want a good chip that is cheap and has a lot of programmable memory (like the AT89C55WD-24PC) so that I can write in C and not have to worry about my programs being too big. Just to make sure, the Dallas DS87C520-MCL is not reprogrammable correct? I am using an Iguana Labs programmer that is supposed to support the chip but only let me burn to it once and does not let me erase the chip. |
