I need to quickly start development on a project that request playing good quality sounds. I choose AT89C51SND1.

If someone have the development kit or the reference designe (or both), please help me to clatify some things.

The problem is what to buy? My country distributors never saled those kits and don’t know much.
The price difference for the two things is significant (700$ vs. 212$ on DigiKey) and I need only the CD (I guess). All I need from the kit is the firmware related to USB Mass Storage, because I prefer to concentrate on my application and not to rewrite something I can buy easily.

Requesting for help from Atmel support service (is there a CD in the reference’s box?) they answered that if you buy AT89RFD-01 “you get the CD too”.

So, this is the question(s):
there is only one CD?
If not, what am I loosing if I’m buying AT89RFD-01?
