#75827 - Lack of searching first! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Does this mean that only a port 0 pin can be used to drive a 1-wire?
Of course, not! Robert, when you begin to design such a circuit, why don't you read all available application notes given by manufacturer, first?? If you would have done it, then you would also have read this one http://www.maxim-ic.com/appnotes....number/857 which clearly states that relevant pull-ups are needed at the master! So, connecting your 1-wire circuitry directly to port0 pin without any additional pull-up, will definitely result in total desaster! Kai |
