Alternatively, write an extra software UART for your uC, plug it between PC and the modem and use it to capture the handshake between PC and the modem.
That does not make sense. It would require hardware (MAX232) as well. Also, if he does not have an ICE, how is he going to see what it is?. Even easier connect 2 COM ports on the PC in parallel with the modem and use hyperterminal on one of the ports to watch. Erik |
