DTMF does not work over GSM! ... When you press the buttons on your GSM handset during a call, this goes in the Signalling channel - it does not generate in-band DTMF; the actual DTMF tones are generated in the network. Of course, it may be possible that you can find a GSM module with AT commands to support this out-of-band DTMF; or maybe one where you could just simulate keypresses... |
