No Kalpak - the wild pigs don't drop the instrument. And of all things why should they ;-) I suppose the instrument drops when it turns dark or so I guess.

Anyway coming to your technical problem, you have not mentioned if you are using the WDT. If so then page 9 of the data sheet discusses in detail as to how to handle the Power down exit with an Interrupt and also satisfy the watch dog puppy. And pay particular attention to the fact " the interrupt must be held low long enough for the oscillator to stabilize "
