When is is someone going to come up with an IDE that actually is an IDE, not a means of using some specific assembler or compiler or whatever.

There are excellent compilers with lousy editors and there are exceloloent editors without compilers/assemblers.

If someone can come up with an IDE where you can plug in your favourite 'pieces' and do things such as 'pick and rename' I will definitely give it a look.

All the IDEs I have seen has been lacking in some department because of being locked to the creators othre products.

Anyhow, no big deal, I am happy with my .bat operations.
