Oh, this issue of chat (relevant to 8051) was discussed some time back and the thread eventually had to be closed as it degenerated into flame war.

For reasons already mentioned by Ijaz, a chat session here will prove to be a liability. Barring a few instances, most replies ( atleast the ones that are detailed and useful)have to be made with some refernce to printed literature ( or file ) and a chat session in that respect would be difficult if not impossible.

Tell me that you want to chat with a sweet thingy across the globe about subtle options to express intentions ranging from 0 to 180 degrees - well I am game!!
