#78682 - important warning SILabs Clone |

Actually my board is a Indian clone (!) of Silabs 8051F020 board. I think, by mistake they had forgot to solder the crystals The serial transceiver these guy's are using is MAX 232N.And they have given 3.2 volts to the MAX232N .Will it work? the datasheet of MAX232 says min voltage is 4volts. I publish here to warn others from buying the clone, provding a MAX232 on a 3.3 supply is almost criminal. Erik |
