#78848 - No tripler but doubler! Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Where are you getting the "tripler" notion? SP3223 doesn't contain a tripler, it's a doubler! This you can already see from the number of capacitors: A tripler would need one capacitor more than a doubler. Where else should sit the charge? As you can only store 'Vcc' on each capacitor you would need two capacitors for a doubler (Vcc plus Vcc), two capacitors for an inverter (Vcc and from this to make -Vcc) and three capacitors for a tripler (Vcc plus Vcc plus Vcc).
