The MetaLink isn't a bond-out.
The issue is: if I pop out the RD2 chip from the emulator itself, and replace it with an ED2 chip, will
writing to the internal eeprom (not flash) work the way
it does on the ED2, even though I'm using a RD2 emulator?

(I guess I could try it, but I'm a bit chicken to fool around with an absolutely essential piece of equipment around here. On the other hand, if I can avoid laying out another $1800 or so....)
