#79550 - RE: How many porst will I need for this?
Responding to: ???'s previous message
hi,

you need look at SILabs where you can find a 100MHz 1 clocker

Indeed, they do very fast derivatives. But some notes:
- not all commands are executed at 1 clock, many instructions require 2 and 3 clocks; some do up to 5 clocks and one requires 8 clocks;
- high performance derivatives (with peak productivity 50 and 100 MIPS) use pipeline execution through cache (252 bytes) and prefetch engine (4 bytes). Each time when cache-miss occurs the processor may be stalled for up to four clock cycles.

Oleg
