i2c with "old standard" use 7 bit addressing -> 128 devices limit, heard that the new standard has expanded it but I don't bother to know that since my hardware used to have 1 or 2 devices only : ), you may ignore the 400uF constraint, it's huge value, unless you have 400 devices attach to the bus and each contribute 1uF.
