#79859 - Inductor issues Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Ertan,
I think members have warned you about the differences in designing a switcher and doing it right. Yes, there is much more than what meets the eye in these switchers - and in my opinion the one big hurdle will be to get the right quality inductors / pulse transformers that are used in the design. These can make or mar your switcher. SO if you are building a switcher, then use only good quality inductors and pulse transformers from professional sources. No winding-at-home from first principles !! Good luck. Raghu |
