#8020 - RE: Any fast 8051? |
The Dallas 89C420 is scheduled for full production this month. It runs 50 MIPS at 50Mhz.
http://www.dalsemi.com/news/pr/p...9c420.html Scenix Semiconductor also has some fast chips. They have changed their name to Ubicom. They just settled a lawsuit with Microchip so I don't now how stable they are right now. They run up to 100 MIPS. http://www.ubicom.com/hardware/sx52bd.html And of course if you need extreme processing power, TI has DSPs up to 8800 MIPS. They also offer a control optimized DSP family that may fit your needs well. http://dspvillage.ti.com/docs/dspproducthome.jhtml Cory Spackman |
