The PCD-8544 is a great controller. I hope it does settle down as a standard.

I am just about to start writing code for this controller. I have made a development board that will let me interface to the product from my ICE. However, I have been second guessing my decision on using this controller because, i can not find a manufacture that makes lcd using this controller. The only lcd module I found was on YAMPP website (nokia lcd).

Where can you purchase these Nokia LCD in volume and with a backlight.
