The first serial port uses port3, I can't recall off the top of my head what ports the second serial uses. I just happen to have a schematic on my desk that uses the part. The secondary serial port is on pins 59 and 60 which are P1.2 and P1.3. I agree that there's no reason one shouldn't be able to use both serial ports while using external memory.
