I think in sdcc before using printf etc you have a intialise the serial port in your program.the printf does not do it. That sounds highly likely - after all, how can printf know what UART mode you want to use, or what baud rate, or which UART you want ot use, or even whether you're using a UART at all?! The same applies to Keil. |
