#82137 - Linux simulator Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Second there is 8051sim which can be downloaded from http://www.geocities.com/Yosemite/...tware.html but I have not yet been able to get it to compile which may be just because it is about six years old.
------------ Although it says it's for Linux, I can't imagine what version of Linux it was meant for. The compile errors I get make me think it was written for DOS, not Linux. At one time, I began writing a Linux GUI 8052 simulator. Never finished it because other things came up that had higher priority. If anyone thinks I should finish it, email me privately. If there's enough interest, I'll up the priority. It uses SDL, so should not be difficult to make it multi-platform. (BTW, it's simulation speed is really fast.) |
