#82225 - Running Keil in Linux.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Dear Forum Members,
I had an additional hard disk in my PC.
First I installed Win98 and all my development softwares, such as Keil, Circuitmaker, etc., on Win98.
Later I installed FedoraCore-I (linux distibution) on the extra disk space. I installed the latest version of WINE and tried executing these programs. And LO!!! Keil, CircuitMaker and other programms worked perfectly well without any problems in the Linux environment.
However I did not have the time to do a complete shiftover to Linux, because some of the programs which specifically control the hardware, and some DOS based softwares, still do not work under linux using WINE. So I am waiting for the right version of WINE, and for MY extra time to do a complete shiftover.
So adjusting my requirements as of now in the Windoze environment...

Happy programming,
From Mr. Kiran V. Sutar.
