I've never tried this, so I do not know that it will work. But it sounds like you have a system at least kluged together, in which case this might be easy enough to try. I get the impression that you have a single antenna/receiver on the side of the track at the finish line. Place a well-grounded shield at the finish line and put the antenna behind it. The idea is to block all transmissions from the antenna until the transmitter is on the finish line, a line-of-sight kind of thing. It's an idea anyway. Joe |
