the main difference is that AT89C51 has status Not Recommended For New Designs. So drop out AT89C51 from now and switch to AT89S51. Last derivative has some additrional features:
- two DPTRs; - watchdog and reset pin configuration during its reset state; - ALE constant emission enable/disable; - Power Off Flag. In addition, AT89S51 may be in-system programmed via SPI-compatible interface. Regards, Oleg |
