#83249 - Co-processor Responding to: ???'s previous message |
There are support chips that will interface to the 8051, one of them which I am working with now is the S1D13706 from Epson, would interface easily to a display up to 240 x RGB x 320 Absolutely, but the OP said he wanted the 8051 to do it (including the JPEG handling). When I said, "You might find that there are chips that do all this stuff in hardware, and include an 8051 "core" purely for control functions - but the actual processing isn't really an 8051 job." I s'pose I should have included multi-chip solutions. You could consider that the Zylogic (nee Triscend) solution falls into this category...? http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=83237 |
