#83570 - Printers
Responding to: ???'s previous message
In Centronics Standard You will need two free Ports , One for a data and one for Driving controls lines.

I think about typical Centronics Printer such as Epson FX-100 or a IBM 3210.
You must initiate printer, control loading paper and send some ASCII Code in 8 bit format.

Procedure of initialization depend of kind of printer but is written in manual book of any printer.

Some of printers like Oki Microline have a RS-232 port, so in this moment you will need only RS-232 converter such as MAX 232 and connect to the printer.

I have got a big ploter Roland 2500 X format A2 and I can drive its by RS-232.

The ask is: What do you want to print?
Printer need much of data to make sth with any sense.
