Dear Shivasni Saini,

If this is not a real piece of code you are using, then maybe there is some typo problem.
Please try the following:
- compile the very code you have posted (with "b"'s added where appropriate)
- download the result to your '51RD2
- run and check if it still does not work (are you using an oscilloscope with probes on P3.0 and P3.1?)
- post the listing of the compiler (or the resulting hex file)

Maybe there is some problem with the compiler?
Are the definitions of SFRs correct?
