#83888 - Don't compare hex!
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Let me point out, that comparing hex files you can conclude nothing on if a compilation result is the same or not.
For example:
:020000001234B8
:0200020056782E
and
:0400000012345678F8
and
:0400000012345678F8
:02000100345673
all describe the same data - 4 byts starting at 0000: 12 34 56 78
but seems completely different.

Could you please, for the benefit of all of us, post here the type of the supposedly defctive assembler, and the listing of the code (or the hexfile) produced by it?
