The gods wanted more than 3 virgin devices - a goat might be the order of the day.
I did some tests some time ago replacing a DS80C320 with a P89C668 and had very few problems. I'm about to do some experimenting in the next couple of days with this device - I'll have a lcd,serial and an accelerometer connected to it, so I expect to work most features of the chip. I'll be using Raisonance C51 as the compiler so I'll see how I go. I've got WinISP (which I used last time successfully). One last thought - you need to pull up P2.7 in order to get into the flash boot - are you not pulling this up too hard?? |
