Just a comment: while Philips datasheet/selection tables claim 1kB RAM for RD2 and 8kB RAM for 668, this must be read as 768 /7936 bytes XRAM (plus 256 bytes internal RAM as in conventional '52). Just for completeness, Temic's RD2 has 1 kB XRAM, Atmel's has 1792 bytes. Jan Waclawek |
