#84113 - alternatives Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I want to know how to implement a watchdog timer externally (or using software)or internally(I Dont want to change the microcontroller AT89C52).
Replacing one '51 derivative with another is not a big deal. My first recommendation would be to use a uC with an internal watchdog. You can NOT make a watchdog with software. If you have to stick with your uC Use the 1232 suggested above provide a 4-20ma current output using a circuit with NFET(TL032&TL034)(or some one can provide me the alternative ICs ) This application does not seem to require much in the line of input impedance of the OP- amp, you should be able to use "any" op-amp. Also, you may want to have a look at the dedicated 4-20 generators (search here) it has been discussed previously in places like http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=53613 Erik |
