hi,
most 8051 derivatives do high source as well as sink. Reading datasheet anybody may find that there are at least too cases when it happens: - when a port`s state is changing from 0 to 1 then the strong pull-up of the pin is used for two OSC cycles; - when pin is used for external memory interface (data/address buses) then at state "1" it uses the strong pull-up.
