The critical time is the firing time - what is not so critical is when you stop sending pulses to the thyristor - once it's triggered, it doesn't care if you keep on kicking it. This may allow you to prioritise your ISRs. The main thing to watch out for here is that you don't keep on kicking it too close to the current zero crossing as it may fire on into the next cycle. |
