Kind of strange what they did with the numbering system. I thought they had a good thing going with the LPCxxx, now it's LPCxxxx or do they mean LPCxxx.x?
I wonder how important 8 and 10 pin devices really are. I mean, as long as the package is small, who cares if you have a few extra pins. I also wonder if some of these derivatives are really just repackaged bigger parts with laser-etched IDs that are different. Or is that just wishful thinking... ;-) |
