Maybe Erik, obviously an insider, can give an indication on how "low cost" should be interpreted?
I am not an "insider" but do have a few contacts. I do not know the cost of these derivatives, but they must be a lot less than the 28 pin LPC932 which I can buy for less than $1 in my quantities (~10k annually). I have found out that, for some unknown reason, the LPC chips are the devices where the cost from supplier to supplier vary the most. I have seen a 1:3 ratio between suppliers usually in the same ballpark. Erik |
