At high volumes, each extra pin converts to extra cost (for contacting/packaging/storing/moving etc.)
However, it would be nice to see a comparison to other members of the LPC family. There is no pricing data on the Philips website. Maybe Erik, obviously an insider, can give an indication on how "low cost" should be interpreted?
