I am still a bit worried about this as the cct is to be used in an industrial application and has to reliable. As Steve says, in such an application you most certainly do not want to be using an RC reset - that is certainly a source of worry! More than just an external reset generator, I suggest you should use a full external supervisor chip to give you: You will also need to pay close attention to noise immunity throughout your system... A search through this forum for "brownout" and "EMC" will give you a lot of food for thought. |
