The '51 has quasi-bidirectional ports, thus you can do the following:
connect every LCD connector pin to a port pin (you will need that anyhow) and write a small program that - as fast as possible - read and buffer as many signals as your memory will hold. Then transfer those readings to a PC and have a look. You can do the change from "logic analyzer" to "reading unit" by pure software. Erik |
