#87584 - Guessing what he means Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I think Vijayganesh S has misunderstood how he can address his 8255. He writes:
BUT IN MY USER MANUAL THEY HAVE GIVEN A 16-MEMORY I/O FOR 8255 I/O INTERFACE i.e., from FFOC.......PORT A FFOD.......PORT B FFOE.......PORT C FFOF................ONE PARALLEL PORT FF10.......PORT A FF11.......PORT B FF12.......PORT C FF13................SECOND PARALLEL PORT I suppose he thinks that he must press a 16-bit address into R0. That's why I suggested reading the "bible" and Erik's post with a hint on P2 |
